Is Green Man Gaming legit?

This game is 47.99 on green man gaming right now, no tax... i feel like this is a legit site but ive never bought from them. my question is why would people pay 59.99 on steam and not just get it on GMG?

I often check games there, due to the vouchers they give. It feels like they have a voucher available 24/7.

(Also, in case you want to pre-order from them at some point, Warhammer's key was sent to me on the thursday before launch, I think, so I had pre-loaded nice and early.)

There has been one or two issues in the past, like with The Witcher 3. I don't know what happened there, but what you're saying is quite untrue. If the site's dodgy, you wouldn't be able to link to it on Steam nor would CA/Sega list it as a official retail partner.

I've used them a fair few times in the past and had absolutely no issues.

There's absolutely no stolen codes on GMG. The only story that ever caused a bit of a stir was GMG getting hold of legit Steam keys for TW3, which p'd the control freaks at CDPR off. If the keys were stolen or otherwise illegitimate they would have been cancelled which never happened. It was an issue of "politics" and control more than anything else.

I have bought about ten keys from GMG and I have never had a problem.

Yes, it's legit if you're willing to support the whole shady grey market thing. Basically, the game is priced differently in different regions. For example, the game is cheaper in Russia than in US because the average salary in Russia is lower. GMG and its ilk buy keys from Russia, sell them in the US, and split the price difference with you.

The people who make the game get less money, but you save some.
