his horse is one of his 6 chaos artifacts. Dorghar is supposed to be a beast.

Dorghar in lore is a shapechanger it can change sape to literly anything.. the reason it is a horse is because archaon is a bit sentimental about his old horse also that was the model before age og sigmar, if you look at the new archaon model from age of sigmar he looks a bit difrent there.
