Settra the Imperishable (Legendary Lord for Tomb Kings?)

Would he make a great Legendary Lord?
considering he was a leader
and he is a really terrifying character

in that when Nagash the deitic-like God of Undeath rose and took all of the Tomb Kings as his slave once more. Settra the Imperishable fought against Nagash to the point he had to be subdued by unnatural powers and by numbers and even then Nagash offered him a position in his inner circle and to which Settra look at the God of Undeath dead in the eye and...

"SETTRA DOES NOT SERVE" he shouted, trembling with rage, "SETTRA RULES"

later on Archaon even tested him to prove his worth against Kholek Suneater and they dueled for 4 days, destroying whole forests and Settra returned to Archaon the Everchosen with the decapitated head of Kholek Suneater...

and as story progressed

Settra tells Nagash he will claim his skull eventually, but only after killing the Chaos Gods for DARING to offer him immortality and the chance to conquer all realities in exchange for servitude. He then charges into battle against the Chaos monsters by himself, killing a giant for good measure. He's last seen fighting them as the world is consumed.


So basically this guy is a deviant badass >.>

He wanted to bring Nagash back to live so he could control him, but this backfired because nagash was much stronger and Manfred became one of his henchmen called mortarchs (along with Arkhan and Vlad). But both von Carsteins were quite competent during End Times until Mannfred Monumental screw up under Mordheim (which NEVER happened okay?)

Arkhan the Black is / was the right hand of Nagash right? I believe that was in my old TK codex or something. Isn't he a lot more powerful than w/e lord the vampires had, like above mannfred / vlad, but a tad weaker than Nagash?

Correct - Arkhan is Nagash´s right hand. They were quite equal in strength (Mannfred was better swordsman but weaker wizard) and both were a lot weaker than Nagash, who was able to consume god of death (?Ossirian?) before defeating Settra in combat.

Yes. Settra is one of the most powerful people in the Old World. On the tabletop he has strength comparable to an Ogre Tyrant, and from what I've heard basically slaughters his way through Heroes or Lords.

Settra deserves to be a God out of his own badassery

Not among the most powerful but among the strongest people in the Old World. If you want to know how strong he will probably be in-game, try out Grimgor and imagine the stats being about 15% higher

he was then exploded to bits by Nagash, but being immortal mummies he was forced to watch and ramble as his city gets destroyed by Nagash
to the extent he remained there angry and upset, screaming at Crows to leave him be.. and soonafter beginning to wish he could just die.. then suddenly the four chaos gods appeared and put him back together, filling him with newfound power and imply for him to serve the Chaos Gods, to which they directed him to Archaon.

he just gives a middle finger to Archaon basically then left and had another kerfuffle with Nagash, then say "I will have your head one day, but for now.. Im going to kill the Chaos Gods for even implying me to serve them"

I still prefered high queen Khalida in TT though, the magic, poison, auto hit arrows (all for +2 points per model) were way too much fun to pass up back in the day when the Casket of souls was still a thing :P

Just so long as Settra can also be a spellcaster (like Archaon or Azhag can) with the Lore of Nehekara, and Arkhan with Death (because I think he'd be really good to add, as he does (technically) oh fealty to Settra (whilst he works in the shadows to resurrect Nagash). Khalida is a strong lord option, and maybe, just maybe Grand Heirophant Khatep could be a contender.

The dwarfs for example don't have one, still works fine. I'd rather have Settra (with some spells I guess) and Khalida, and then the lich priests as heroes you can recruit. IT'd work fine if they drop the whole hierophant thing.

He used to be a vampire lord, atleast lore wise he's always been part of the vampires
