Archaon canonically wiped out the world and conquered it for Chaos, defeating every faction that stood in his way
Abaddon in terms of sheer numbers controlled, worlds burned, and tech advantage.
But then again, he has mostly failed his dark crusades. He has had 13 chances to destroy the imperium, or parts of it, and he has failed for the most part.
Besides, i find Archaon's back story and fall to darkness more compelling than Abaddon's desire to wage war.
He gets things done and erases the world, while Failbaddon is busy getting rekt constantly.
1st Black Crusade was led by Angron the Primarch and Khornate Daemon Prince

It is reavealed in one of the lore books that the 40k world is actually inside of a snowglobe sitting on a shelf in a wizards tower.
Ofc as Archaon destroyed the world he destroyed the snowglobe aswell :)
And the other got sucker punched by a rather bored random ork just as he was about to win everything forever.
The rather bored orc was Grimgor Ironhide who is the strongest Black Orc in existence.
Also, Abaddon genes are from the immortal honcho sitting on the golden throne. Did you not know that that guy, labeled the most powerful psychic in the universe, was almost chocked to death by an ork aswell? Took multiple other guys to save him from that savage.
And even still, Ironhide might be the strongest ork in existence, but he's also the BIGGEST. How the HELL do you get sucker punched by that? Even in a battle? He stands 3 times bigger than a human! He's as big as most ogres!
And I'm sorry, the Emperor is categorically a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as well. All that time, and he still managed to screw the pooch at the end because he couldn't be assed to actually tell his most trusted sons what his actual freaking plan was.
becuase he managed to destory the warhammer fansty world(granted it wasnt him perosnally that ended it)
I think it was in one of the Liber Chaotica books that stated that the wh40k world was sitting and collecting dust on a random shelf in the colleges of magic in altdorf.

and even moreso he has his own army and tribes that worship Archaon and not the Chaos Gods.
Uhm, no. You are thinking about Storm of Chaos. That's not canon anymore.
