Sigmar, The Emperor reincarnate? or a lost Primarch?
Who do you suppose Sigmar is?
The Emperor in his own fantasy world?
A lost Primarch?
or another Deity-like being that rivals the Emperor?

I agree with you on the lack of connection, but Slaanesh is present in 40k, too. I'm not sure what you mean.
Slaanesh is born sometime around 30th Millennium & is the youngest, but in Fantasy, all the Dark Gods are about the same age, and have existed since the world came to be.
but apparently as soon as Slaanesh was born he/she/it had always existed. Due to the way time is in the Warp. I read that somewhere.

For the 1000th time, Fantasy and 40k are NOT linked. Fans can dream and think up wild explanations but it doesn't make it so.

Well, arriving before you set out is a real risk with Warp travel. Or disappearing for hundreds or thousands of years. Time doesn't really work all that well with the Warp. I mean, the traitor Legions are still around some ten thousand years after the Horus Heresy, whereas there's only one Loyalist marine still "alive" from that time.

Games Workshop took a pretty hearty stance in saying that there is no actual connection between Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40k. But personally I don't think it really matters because Games Workshop makes and breaks lore so often it's just too muddled. Personally I kinda like the idea that Sigmar was one of the lost Primarchs and that's why only 18 Primarchs were found during the Era of the Crusades. But again it totally doesn't matter because saying anything is cannon in either Fantasy or 40k is totally a crapshoot.

When it comes down to it, when I play fantasy or 40k tabletop myself and the people I play with just go with whatever sounds like more fun.

i think playing the Lamenters in itself is its own reward
I mean with the horrible luck your chances of losing are quite high especially being new
and by that standards of the Lamenters, you lose gloriously as a heroic, good loser.
Losing Valiantly is better than Losing depressingly.

lol its the opposite I think. The Emperor is Sigmar. After the End times & the Thunder Warriors are quite similar to the new Sigmarines.

explain why in the libor chaotica (fantasy) they reference magnus the red, and abaddon.

explain Kaldor Draigo's quote inn Knight of Titan "I see an old world beyond the next horizon - A world that likely never was, were sorcery blew in the very winds and a self-made GOD-KING was all that stood against the ruinous powers. Mayhap i would find the answers there, if I could find it at all"

explain who you think the giant silver knight running through nurgle's garden was during the end times khaine book.

explain in end times thanquol when the skaven discover an old one device that they use to contact an elvish voice (eldar)

not to mention the substantial links like sigmar's origin being very primarch esk, and both universe share the same chaos gods and old ones.

Well Slaanesh wasn't kidnapped and drained of souls by some whimpey elves in 40K.

Pretty sure we'd know if Slaanesh was suddenly removed in the 40K universe.
