"The Fall of Man" is a quest battle. When all the other requirements have been completed for a "Short Campaign" victory, this quest will trigger, and your army can teleport to the location (if you choose that option) as in any other quest battle.

Actually for me it happened before I had fulfilled the raiding and # of towns razed requirements. I think it is when you wipe out all of the empire civs in the list.

The battle is easy. I used the powerful troops I had at the time and just focussed each enemy unit until they lost morale, trying to take out enemy arty first. You get a powerful ally to help you as well. I barely lost any units at all.

Stupid thing was, when I won a few turns later, I got the Cheevo for beating the game on Very Hard, when I had been playing on Normal.

Well, maybe I just became aware that the quest was avaible when I had met those various conditions. At any rate...no matter...

Yea, I also got credit for a VH victory even though the game was set to normal.
