The combat, it was so simple, so repetitive, the game was a chore. It tried to do a God of War but failed. Why you think they don't make games like that on consoles anymore? There last one, that Viking game was even worse. I gave up playing it, CA don't do those games well.

I thought it being simple made it great. The levels were very different from eachother and you could find other weapons to fight with. Also they had unique bosses.

Everybody can have their own opinion though.

they were awsome god of war is ♥♥♥♥ with weird mini games and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story

I admit it was good for the first few hours and was fun being a Spartan but CA didn't know how to make it work as a full game. It's better than the Viking game by far but that's not much praise.

Best game of the PS2 I had. It was the first and only game I had for that console were you fought alongside other troops (even if they were the worst fighters ever). I loved killing as many enemies as possible and see my allies survive and cheer, always wished it had a sequel.
