It is "The Moot", a settlement in eastern Stirland.
Why you gotta mess with the little people? What did they do to you? Plus, lol, they need to add some extra battle where Halflings come out to try and defend their homes. I can see it going well in this universe...It would also be hilarious to shoot units of them with Hell Cannons. It's the little things (heh) that make me happy.

Mootland is rite next to the vampire, you can't miss it.

I was just wondering about the harflings.. Is there really have hobbits?

In the Warhammer setting, yes there are halflings. They're quite a bit like hobbits, but rather more... vulgar, usually.

However they don't appear in Total War (at least not yet...)

Halfling army is one of those armies which is super old and GW don't really bother update 'em.

Halflings were available as a unit (archers), as an artillery piece (halfling hot-pot) and as a special Regiment of Reknown (Lumpin Croops Fighting [Male Chickens], skirmisher archers), the last version of the TT I played. They were annoying and not often used.

Halflings are quite dangerous though. Eating more than one or two a day can be very bad for your diet, as the little beggers are often high in fats and sugars. Save them for a treat, and don't keep a big barrel of them in the horde camp where everyone can munch one whenever they feel like it. You ever seen a Chaos Warrior too fat to get into his armour? It's very sad...

In the Blood Bowl TT game, Halflings were really the team you played for LOLs. They were comparably slow, weak and vulnerable. But they made up for it with lots of re-rolls and by stealing re-rolls from the other player. The net result was that they could (and had to) take more risks while the other player would find themselves unable to take as many risks.

So players could try all sorts of funny maneuvers, like having the player get the ball, get picked up by a treeman and then get tossed halfway down the field. Half the fun was seeing the ways that your players would get injurred or die on the pitch.

I am not sure how that would translate to a playable race in TW. Completely overmatched, but an element of luck that allows them to be moderately useful. Maybe good leadership, with the ability to get periodic buffs that increase their surviveabilty while other enemy debuffs that decrease killability.

It would be totally unprecidented in the Warhammer TT game, but might make an interesting challenge.

i was very dissapointed that the moot didnt have halflings in it in the game. almost as dissapointed as i was about middenheim not being on a big rock

back in 3rd edition the halflings had a army list , in the "allies" section of the warhammer armys book cant remember off the top of my head how many unit entrys they had , doubt GW had models for them all either .

Would love to see halfling units in this game one way or another , afterall one of the Elector counts is a Halfling! Hisme Stoutheart for emperor!

like BB, they would not need to be balanced. they should be a huge challenge to play. that's the fun of it

Can confirm - it's "The Moot" in Stirland - right next to the Vampire Counts.
