the Chaos bird/lord thing

just something fun, i only just realised that the Chaos Bird lord that comes with Archaon, is actually the same one in the opening scene, at the very end, when the chaos corrupted wizard summons something- its the lord/bird!!!

Or was this very obvious to everyone and im just being slow? lol

Still it's pretty nice to see that kind of detail, even more when it bleeds through their games.

Or the act of summoning a Greater Daemon ravaged his frail mortal body. Now he seeks to undermine the stability of the Old World by fostering war between the nations, to pave the way for his master.

I believe the concept is that he uses your chosen nation to batter down or destroy everybody else, and then take advantage of what he assumes will be your weakened state and summons Sarthoreal to finish you off while you're down.


He of course doesn't take into consideration that all the factions in the game kill Daemons on the regular, so Big Bird gets to join him in hell shortly after.

But seriously though, it's hilarious to watch Kholek grind him into the dirt.

ive seen that trailer from warhammer online too and i thought it was the horned guys pet, and now i saw him ingame and nearly pissed my pants realising a giant bird is coming for me with an op army

I wish Chaos came with more armies tho. Sarthoreal and Archaeon both have pretty terrifying armies, but after you beat them the rest are just a minor annoyance.
