The physical warhammer game - is there a site to download army books?
Obvoiusly you pay for the rulebook and the models, but do you have to purchase each individual army book?

Yep. I dont think they were sold digitally, but you might be able to find them in pdf format some where.

Basic units are listed in the main rulebook aswell.

You have to purchase them individually, yes. I've yet to find a place to get them for free, and believe me I've been looking hard.

If you are looking to get into Warhammer fantasy your out of luck ;(. Gw has rebranded WF into Age of sigmar which does use some WF aspects but is a completey different table top experience .:chug:

Or The Ninth Age[www.the-ninth-age.com], which is a fan-made game that's basically 9th edition Fantasy. It's not advertised as such, though, for obvious legal reasons.

Ah pity, I just want to read the lore, see how the mechanichs were converted for this game.

PS> the main rule book does not list basic units.

You can find anything for free online if you look hard enough.

Hey there, played for about 18 years and to be honest they focused this game on one of the boring editions imo. The table top didn't follow the lore very well because it would make the game heavily broken. That being said this follows the 8th edition game pretty well.
