Game of the Year Edition
Only "exception" to this rule is the Brettonian factions that rarely, which is still more than never, venture to the other side of the Grey Mountains into Marienburg or Altdorf. Also, sometimes the Border Princes make it through the pass if they pick a fight with Averland and win, but I've also seen it go the other way, with Averland wiping them out. If you feel like RPing, and thus dislike humans "needlessly" fighting other humans, that can be a bit bothersome.
Though the reason why it's not in the game is certainly that the AI couldn't handle it properly.
buying/trading land with the current factions just doesn't seem to fit.
As much as the Dwarfs and Empire are friends? no way the dwarfs would willing give up their holds.. (and not many humans like the idea of living under ground)
Greenskins? who'd trust them enough? Vampires? i doubt any ruler would live long enough to sign the trade deal once his people found out he was thinking about selling their fellows to the undead..
maybe if/when they let folks play the diffrent elector counts of the Empire? Or Kislev or Bretonia? i can see them maybe being willing to trade land with other humans. (same with Vampires trading turf.. maybe..)
but as for the rest? it just doesn't.. feel right?
remember in the other games, like in real life.. Everyone was human...
here in Warhammer, you've got totaly diffrent races, who distrust each other... and most tend to enslave, eat or kill and bring them back as undead anyone not of their group...
Hell of a deal right there. $500 for India.
How the ♥♥♥♥ did anyone pull this off?
