You mean Wood Elves, they live in the forest of Athel Loren.
High Elves live on an Island/Small Continent between the Old World and the New World.
The Elves live on the Forrest are the Woodelves. The Dark Elves live on the other Continent in the Harsh North.
As many others already said. There are no Eldar in WHF. They are a 40k Race. and that has nothing to do with the Fantasy Setting. High Elves are not the same. The closest Faction to compare with the Eldar but still really different. Not even from the Technology standpoint.
Don't quote me on it, but if I'm not mistaken Eldar have not yet found out travel through the webway. IDK if lore is moving on throughout these games cuz I haven't stayed with that kinda crap (I kno 40k lore is moving) so maybe Eldar will find webway travel and find themselves in the middle of fantasy. Like I said don't quote me on it...
the "old ones" are the 40k equivilent of the lizardmen.
the old ones also taught the eldar about the webway.
warhammer: fantasy is totally unconnected with 40k, on the narrative level. the past of 40k is the real world we live in today, not WH:F.
