Be Careful.. in table top a good player could use them aginst you. summon undead or attack with fliers.. and they could often get them to be pushed out in the direction of your own units.
lot of players used to take some very, very cheap fliers just for that reason.. so the fanatic would hit your own units.
see my remark above...
some one summons undead behind you.. guess what?
or manages to get a flier unit to attack your rear..
guess where the Fanatic is going....
i cant count how many times that happened to me in table top. depending on who i was playing.. i even stopped taking the real Fanatic as they'd be more dangrous to me then the enemy. (and if they tried to set them off.. and i didn't have one.. i got a few free points by crushing their unit.
i hope they give folks the option.. "this unit has one.. this one doesn't etc."
Yeah exactly, they are more to break a solid line than for dealing lot of damage. Same role as the boar chariot. Best to use just before your melee charge, so you open the front line and can split the army in 2. Kind of spearhead tactic the orks are good at. Especially agaisnt a dorf army that can be a solid formation very hard to break in a frontal charge.
hmm.. that might not be so bad then..
bit lame if they don't do some dmg/kills.. but does make them a bit safer to use in your front line.
sooooo lame to have someone raise a small undead unit right be hide you and have your fanatic crash through them and into your core units in the rears.
lol.
Yeah but technically you should'nt bring some fanatics vs a vampire player, so it's all your fault if you don't pick the right build for the right situation tbh...
