Auto-Resolve Combat = Less Rewards?
I was wondering if you receive less gold or items if you use the Auto-Resolve. I ask because I have tested it and it seems that I get more gold after a battle I played manually and less gold for Auto-Resolve. I'm not sure if the game calculates how many troops you kill if you play manually and bases the Loot from it. Also I noticed I have found Rare items by Playing battles out manually than if I Auto-reolved them. If anyone knows how Auto-resolve or manually playing battles out results in less rewards or experience please let me know. Thx :dd2orc:

Bit luck? About 500 hour campain game play i only got around 10 rare item ,mostly not auto resolve.
So Auto-Resolve or Manually Playing out is just random gold or Loot no matter which you play?

The result may be different, but the chance remains the same.

Example, auto-resolve might give x item, reload and do it manually might not give item.
Ok thanks for the info, I was worried that if I auto-resolved I would be missing out on Items.

Gold reward is based on kill so yes manual battle and complete annihilation on enemy side give you more gold than auto resolve. I always rack almost double kills in manual battle. Item reward is random tho.

Ok so this confirms what I thought that Gold rewards is based on how many Kills and if you completely wipe out an enemy more Gold. Thank you Big Boom Boom, I now know not to ever use Auto-resolve if I need Gold. :bigups:

Think that depends on the situation, chasing down a remaining army of outriders with chaos knights isn't that great, this is where auto-resolve can kill all units with no effort. Also sieged settlements have all defenders killed if they lose the battle, so auto-resolve or manual shouldn't make a difference.

Auto resolve usually takes two attack to completely wipe out an army but against undead you can wipe them out in manual pretty easily in one battle. Gold reward is based on kills during fight, I believe once entire enemy army flees and you can press the close battle button the kill don't count toward rewards. This is usually quite noticeable with Chaos due to their huge battle rewards.
I have replayed many battles now trying Both Auto_Resolve and Manual Options, Manually always seems to Drop Items where as Auto-Resolve did not, this of course was tested with 5 battles that I did. Gold seem to be the same when I attacked a settlement, either auto-resolve or Manual. So right now it seems manual will drop items more than Auto-Resolve, at least from the 5 Battles that I tested it with. :DoomBolt:
