Skarsnik problem with Karak Eight Peaks

Hey, I had this problem last night: after capturing KaraK Eight Peaks with Skarsnik, it does still say I need to take on it. Building works normally and I can build or upgrade, but can't recruit orks, the tooltip / icon on the top screen still says I need to take it.

Do we need to have the whole province under our control for that? It doesn't make much sense right now, IDK if it's a bug or what, but I own it but it's still not recognized by the game...

You have turn off yours mods. Need wait till mods will be polish for this dlc.

Thanks for replies, but I still don't understand it.

Can anybody confirm that it works as intended? Like capturing Karak Eight Peaks with Skarsnik, without taking the other cities in the region, is enough to "unlock" it? Or do you need to build something or anything I am missing?

Ok, that is to build orcs. But is it required to unlock KEP?

I had them all off because not updated, now I have some turned on automatically because they updated, but only a few, better camera mod, blabla, and conquer anywhere. Maybe this made interference? Problem is I am still not sure if it's a bug, a mod problem, or just something I am missing ingame...

K8Peaks is having some compatability issues with mods, and some even by itself. I'm in a Wurzag campaign and certain building chains won't even appear; can't build up the garrison or wallz because the option doesn't exist.

For OP, I can recruit orcs there and am only using four non-cosmetic mods.

THANKS! This clears up many things, I am sure now that it is interfering with some of my mods, which are supposedly updated, because they "turned green" on mod manager instead of having the yellow "!" warning they have been deactivated due to update.

I don't really really need orcs because I feel I can take over the whole map (in hard) just with goblins and regiments of renown XD but I still see the top-icon of karak eight peaks not conquered and sucks...

So I will try disabling them all and hopefully I won't need to restart campaign or reload an older save before taking on KEP, cause I was having a blast with that campaign!

Let us know how it goes. After some investigating I think there is a vanilla game bug with K8Pks alltogether.

Thanks, my investigation, after checking on the official total warhammer forums, is that it has relation with mods, possibly by the conquer anywhere mod. At least CA points to it, but mod author has updated it after some problems reports, so who knows. Never used that mod before and I was enjoying it alot with Skarsnik campaign....now I am afraid I will have to restart campaign xD

You can't build garrison with ANYONE at Karak Eight Peaks....it changed with the DLC and now it gets bigger garrison with the main building chain
