Eh, Mannfred leadership isn't much to speak about. The biggest thing going for him is that he'll make the biggest ♥♥♥♥ moves ever, which IMO isn't very appealing for a villian.

Manny's only claim to fame is he learned more necromancy and that really didn't provide him as much benefit in the long run as he thought. people put up with him because they didn't want to risk another konrad.

Manny killed Gelt because his weak manchild mind was corrupted by chaos. He put a knife in the poor wizard's back right after he decided to not play in chaos's hands after a talk with his daddy Vald. Duh. Mannfred mind litteraly got broken.
Also cunning? His battlefield tactics and war strategies are atrocious.
And someone even accusing Vlad for his plot armor? Right, because Manfred was absolutely not killed like 2-3 times. KILLED, not poofed like a mist, or turned into a swarm of bats, killed. And each time he somehow got ressurected. By who? I have no idea, since Manny's idea about loyalty was to kill every Von Carstein with some wits and ability. By the End Times Mannfred had only like 4 thrall Von Carsteins and each one was as dumb as a tree trunk.

mannfried met gotrek and ran like a little ♥♥♥♥♥. straight up ran. then he hid up in the rafters and made a big speech about how he's not running because he's afraid. manfried was like the urkel of the von carstiens. no wonder the planet blew up, he was such a loser it imploded in hsame from being seen with him.

Mannfred at his core is an entitled child. That's not meant as an insult; he literally thinks he is or should be the center of the world and is better than Vlad, Sigmar, or Nagash himself, and will freak out if he doesn't get what he wants.

Vlad is not only more stable and reasonable, he's actually one of the arguably "good" vampires in the entire setting. His entire long-term plan was to turn the Empire into undead not to become Emperor for the sake of becoming Emperor, but to save the Empire from its own corruption and make it impervious to Chaos by turning everyone into either vampires or undead. In its own twisted way, it would've worked and stopped Chaos in its tracks. He also ran Sylvania so well that the people living there didn't like Imperial forces going in and trying to oust him; he's literally better than most Elector Counts at their own jobs, even if he's an unholy abomination. Plus, he and Isabella are one of the few genuinely healthy and happy relationships in the setting, and he's probably Neferata's ex-husband, which means he's incredibly ancient and intelligent than most other vampires could ever be.

Mannfred was too weak to challange Vlad directly, so informed the Empire about the ring Vlad wore. There is a reason why Mannfred dissapears in game and Vlad is the new VC faction leader, Vlad would give Mannfred the true death otherwise.
