What do you usually build in each settlement in Wissenland?
The main reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to figure out if I should still keep the armoury in Nuln, or move it to either Wissenburg of Pfeildorf to make room for another buidling, either a Menagerie or a Wizard's Tower. Right now, I'm looking at something like this:

Nuln: Reinforced Walls, Nuln Gunnery School, Engineer's Workshop, Cathedral of Sigmar, Armory

Wissenburg: Marble Quarry, Barracks, City Watch

Pfeildorf: Iron Mine, City Watch, Master Swordsmith

Assuming we don't get rid of any defensive garrison buildings, the only thing I can think of replacing is the Marble Quarry for the Armory since marble, strangely enough, is the least valuable trade good in the region. Thing is that I'm typically averse to get rid of my only source of a particular resource. So real question, keep things as they are, or sacrifice my source of marble to free up a building slot in Nuln?

If you want to trade in iron and marble and have other provinces with those resources (e.g. Helmgart), build the resources there and free up the slots in Wissenland. If Wissenland is your only marble resource, you'll have to hold on to it for the time being until another province with marble ends up in your collection.

Whether or not you need reinforced walls in Nuln depends on how close it is to the frontline. If it is, keep the walls. Otherwise remove them for something else.

I would personally throw in a public order building in there instead of the marble quarry, just in case. That privince is also perfect for training up gold vet siege weapons, tanks & great swords.

Nuln is a good recruitment province especially for empire so I always set it that way.

In vanilla you will want every type of recruitment building with the others to support them like forge.

Initially build farms to develop growth then burn them later when towns are at max level.
i hardly find the gunnery school worth it. and i usually only recruit from my main province, while it does help spread out and stream line your recruitment a bit, the money you will dump into the gunnery school and the siege workshop AND blacksmith will hardly be worth it. eco ♥♥♥♥♥ everything

I made a guide that answers this exact question for Wissenland and other Empire provinces: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1117487230

The short version is that Wissenland should be viewed as primarily an infantry recruitment province because of its access to the Master Swordsmith.

The gunnery school bonus is faction wide, not province specific, so there's no particular reason to build the engineer's workshop here.

The Menagerie, Temple of Sigmar or Wizard's Tower might be worthwhile if you really like building a lot of the corresponding units, but you are generally better off building demis/priests/witch hunters in Middenland and wizards in Altdorf due to special buildings.

I favour maximizing economy, so I'd have a tailor in Nuln and WIssenburg; you have space for barracks in Nuln.

My 2 cents are that nearly all late game recruitment is global, unless youre making a new army from scratch(or you play super passively, which I guess some people do), so who cares about +/- a handful of infantry ranks in one province. Your troops level quickly and functionally it makes minimal difference unless we're talking in the range of +/- 4-5 ranks. I usually just spec wissenland to be a straight econ province, because you can have luxury resources+the usual cloth maker, with the added benefit of a massive artillery producing infrastructure in Nuln(gunnery school is great for the upkeep drop). The gold is simply much more worthwhile.

I tend to use Reikland for all recruitment so I just stuff it with money, defense and public order stuff like all the others. I do build the gunnery school though as the xp buff is global and adds more garrison.
