Okay, thanks
I may ask, whats your opinion about the volley guns? are they worth it?
imo no. They are highly reliant on favorable terrain. In the early game I'd suggest going for mortars, and you switch later on to hellstorm rocket batteries. The main reason is that they can shoot from behind your lines, so it's easier to protect them and get more value from their firepower. Usually for an empire army I'd go something like 8 6 4 2, namely 8 artillery pieces for overwhelming firepower. You just delete the enemy before it gets to you. 6 infantry units acting mostly as meatshields, 4 heavy cav units to guard the flanks, a lord and a wizard, preferably with the lore of fire. Cavalry is pretty bad in this game, you'd only use it to keep your artillery safe and to hammer anything pinned by the infantry that the artillery can't shoot safely.
