Beastmen NEED a roster finalization. Here's what could be added!
Ok, as a Beastmen tabletop player, I am very familiar with the roster. Allow me to list what is missing:

Starting with Lords: Moonclaw, a Beastman born from the Chaos Moon, Morrslieb itself, who fell to earth long ago and has a shifting, reality distorting presence like friggin Slenderman. He is insane....ish, and has amazing powers over magic. Now, on table top, people didn't like him. But that was because he was such a random character, he could go from terribly bad to "OMFG DUDE WHY DID I F*CKING ALLOW YOU TO USE THIS GUY? F*CK YOU, F*CK THIS GAME. F*CK." I never got to use him, but he was quite a hoot, from what I read.

Morghur, Master of Skulls: A deranged, psychotic Beastman who is worshipped greatly by his kin. He can distort and warp the land around him with ease and any unmutated/sane organism that gets to close mutates and warp's into an abomination, or just goes utterly insane and becomes a tad bit warped. Depends on how he feels. Now, writing up a story for this guy is hard, because he is so.....generic. But I am sure it would be interesting enough.

Taurox, the Brass Bull: You ever wanted an Arnold Schwarzenegger-esqe Doombull that worships the Granter of Savage Hate (Khorne) and was blessed with an immensely difficult to penetrate brass hide that needed an extremely high dice roll which THEN needs to penetrate a ward save with an equally high roll? Well that is who this mighty BAMF is. He ate a demon by accident who tried to communicate with him about the plans of the gods as he was favoured, so he went full Bray-Shaman, saw apocalyptic visions, but he was the wrong class so LULZ KILL YO HERD AS PENALTY INSTEAD, BRUH. Does that, remains in deranged blood-greedng berserker frenzy, goes on for a year as he cuts a genocidal warpath right through the forest (forget which one), as he kills literally everything in his path and then dies from bodily exhaustion. But Khorne likes him waaaaay too much to allow that, so henceforce he is ressurected with his bronze, solid hide, and blessed with immense strength (makes the Gorebull look like a generic cow in comparison), and his attitude hasn't really improved. He just regained his sanity. Slightly. Enough to lead an army. While he eats yo family.

There are two more. I forget the names, I think one was called Sludgetongue, the Lord of Famine. A beastman who worshipped the Plaguelord (possibly, it's impossible to say because in the book it was never specified if he literally did or not. Was left up to imagination, I guess) who was able to cause the fields to wither, the land to decay, and possibly cause many plagues, etc. He is covered in all kinds of writhing vermin, and his very skull has rotten away, where he doesn't even have any eyes left. I guess magic preserves him and gives him sight. He's a cool guy.

The other one was really.....useless. It depended if you wanted to run a mostly basic infantry army, lead by a two headed Ungor who leads a tattered/shoddy army of beastmen/human chaos worshipping rejects who basically banded together because of being outcasts amongst their own because they did something stupid or verrrrry naughty, and were exiled. The "Lord's" history is a tad dull, but basically he was an ungor born with two heads, and thought and spoke like a Warcraft two-headed Ogre does. He (they? I mean it's two personalities, up to debate when it comes to such a thing) wanted to become a proper beastman, but the big boy's told him to shove it, so he murdered the Beastlord in his sleep, cut off his horns and wore them on...his head as.....his, their? Jesus christ, I don't know. The two-headed ungor basically was hunted down by the herd out of revenege, and lost them in a labrinyth of tunnels that he knew well for a few months, of which they then gave up, and he ran off and formed his own little group. Like I said, I don't recall the name, but this apparent Lord was rather meh, and wasn't anything you'd want to use except in maybe some kind of RPing situation. He certainly wasn't for competitive play.

Now, I am sure the Lord's have their own unique items. Moonclaw had a cool mutated monster mount, like a hybrid of griffin, hellhound and toad or lizard of some kind. Morghur had a staff of skulls, similar to what Heinrich Kemmler had. Taurox has two massive clever axes imbued with fire and armour penetration. He is a total badass, as always. Sludgetongue may have had some kind of staff, I am not too sure, and the Ungor guy (don't recall his name) had the Beastlord's Horn, I guess you could claim.

Now that we cleared up that, onto unit roster.

1. Jabberslythes. These guy's are fun, and lore wise, hilarious. They are SO ugly, that reality refuses to reflect it's appearance in the water. Yeah. That's awesome. What do they look like? A hybrid of wyvern, toad, sludge-drake ( a kind of swamp wyvern I guess) and insect. They have a powerfully long tongue hence the toad hybrid, which they can shoot out of their mouths at an immensely powerful speed and drag soliders or what ever else they catch into their jagged maws. Their blood is acidic, meaning anyone who would do harm them would probably take damage or be affected by a "poison aura", depends on how they would implement it. Oh, the things have ragged wings, so they can half-assedly fly about. Not at a fast pace, but the sight of it is enough to cause anyone to go insane and void their bowels, as Sigvald loves to laugh about :^)

2. Ghorgon. I won't lie, we were all VERY disappointed when these guys were not brought into the game. The Ghorgun is very iconic, much like the Jabberslythe and Legendary Lords you get to use. Imagine this: So two minotaur's bang each other, and have a baby. The baby however is more oxen in appearance, much like the Cygor, a distant cousin one could say. The Ghorgon however has two eyes and can see, is immensely blood-greedy even more so then the minotaur, has FOUR arms, two of which are usually armed with a brutal weapon they hazardouly put together out of scrap, with the other two usually mutated into a kind of fist weapon, like a massive hooked bone scythe. Quite something. Or one of the fist's will just be carrying a large boulder which they can use to squash the enemy with. Options, as always. As they are distant cousins to minotaurs, they hunger for blood, but they have a special trait: They can regenerate. How? Well, the more meat they consume, it somehow allows their body to heal woulds and such, much like how a vampire can heal himself via blood. They would go with the same type of rule. Or perhaps they'll just make up some lore fluff about how the winds of magic can heal their wounds due to the fact they are very chaotically infused beast's. Either one works.

Now, there is some "unofficial" units they could create, here's an idea:

Razorgor rider's. Hey, you think it's insane to ride Squigs? Razorgor's are even worse when it comes to attitude. Make it only so the toughest Gor can "break them in" aka beat them until they stop trying to maul you, so it can hop onto it's backside and ride them into the enemy and try to survive the entire endevour (......nah).

Ramhorn Siege Equipment. Now, there is a unique piece of lore that is mentioned in the 8th edition manual. Basically, Ramhorn's are these elephant sized mammal's that are immensely close to bison, but with HUGE, thick horns. A bray-shaman would summon one via a horn they would hollow out in crafting, which would summon one from the mountains (make it a mountain terrain specific unit, for places like Brettonia or Middenland), from which they would come down and see the skull of a Ramhorn nailed to the door of the keep they are sieging. Well, they would see this as a challenge, and not being the bright creature's they are, would charge at steam-train speed, slamming right into the damn thing, shattering the door if not less then twice on impact. Of course, the creature's are rare and thus hard to come by, so specific requirements to use them would have to be met, but it would be quite fun to witness. Oh, and I imagine if the Ramhorn broke into the city, it wouldn't appreciate the solider's attacking it out of fear. It would be quite a sight.

Welp, that's all I can think of for now. Leave in the comments on what you guy's would like to see added. For Chaos Warriors, the Troll King would be pretty cool. And that depressing guy that serve's Nurgle, I forget his name. But from what I read, he was pretty badass.

Isn't Morghur coming at the same time as Wood Elves?

Question: What happened to the Beastlord/ Master Shamon Gorthor? Did they just get rid of him in TT?

Oh, I forgot about Gorthor. Well, I'll give a simple recount here:

Gorthor was a mage/warrior hybrid beastman, fought with a powerful spear and wore the skull of a badass Minotaur (not sure if it's related to that spell Bray-Shaman's use as a damage for damage buff ingame, name wise. Might be). He nearly dragged all of Middenland to a brutal death, but some crusading armies came back after fighting back east against the asiatic empire that rules over there. Apparenty, he nearly won, but because his army had already suffered and he was stuck between the city of Middenheim and the returning crusaders, he eventually lost the battle but not before killing the Middenlander's general and dying in the process. Something along those lines. I think he was alive during Vlad's time or even before that, possibly.....500 years. But I read about him in 7nth edition, I am not at my house atm so I can't fact-check. Someone else will have to. But he is so far back in the past, there is no way to bring him back without cut-pasting his past into present period and leave a big empty gap in the past, and simply leave his lore "unfinished" so the player may do so instead. It isn't a bad idea, either way.

Regarding Morghur, I hope he will be. Got any footage of evidence that he will? But regarding him, if it's ONLY him...I am going to be rather disappointed. Again. That isn't enough, especially if they won't bring in even basic Doombulls and exclude Taurox. Seriously want him ingame >:C

I have Gorthor from the 6th edition but he was new then. Not much on him.

Regarding Morghur. This is the description of the mini campaign in the WE dlc:

New Story Campaign: The Season of Revelation
Set across a beautiful and highly-detailed campaign map of Athel Loren and the surrounding Duchies of Breton, The Season of Revelation is playable as either Durthu or Orion, the Wood Elves’ two Legendary Lords. This campaign tasks the player with uniting Athel Loren in the face of Bretonnian incursions and, later, from a series of fearsome, climactic attacks by the Beastman warlord Morghur, and his corrupted bray-herds.

Huh. Cool. Then let's hope we can get him.
HolyGrail Nov 18, 2016 @ 3:18am
Well I just got this from Rock Paper Shotgun

"Creative Assembly’s choice of demo mission, a later battle from the Seasons of Revelation mini-campaign, proved a bruising introduction to all this. It puts you and an ally army back to back on a hill-top, fending off a Legendary Beastman general (who I’ve been asked not to name)."

So I'm guessing they're fleshing out Beastmen a bit.

There are 2 options for Morghur I reckon.

Free LL released at the same time as WE
or
Available to use after completing The Season of Revelation Campaign (like Boris Todbringer in An Eye for an Eye)

^ This guy knows what I speak of. I like this guy :^)
I'd love to see all the units the OP mentioned, and I thought of a rule for the Ramhorn to make it fair. It has to be summoned by a lord, it walks on screen from the edge of the map and then slowly walks towards the gate, only chargin the last 50 meters or so, but it one hits the gate open. After that it is so slow that it's more of DPS sponge than a fighting unit with very slow attack times, but it buffs friendly beastmen untis around it, maybe leadership +10, attack +7 or something.

Sounds like a good idea to me, Prince.

Morghur is shown in that 5min video of the wood elves. I kinda think that beastmen will have some more units added for free, like they did with chaos.
