Epic Victory conditions
When all the relevant continents and races are in this game, the map for this game will be huge. And unless something changes, it'll still be possible for Empire (for example) to complete their campaign without really leaving their borders.

When playing Attila, I found that theyre were several grades of victory conditions: Minor (well done you're a large and stable state), Military (a military superpower), Cultural (an economic and cultural superpower) and Divine (Usually combining all the requirements of the previous two, and getting towards "paint the map your colour").

What if, when the last major race gets slotted into place, a new set of victory conditions is added for each race: Divine victory, winning not just the current war, but prosperity and success for millenia to come? Also, critically, in a way that means you have to get out and about across the mega-map a LOT more...

What sort of victory conditions would be characterful, appropriate, and suitably epic in scale?

Think some up and post them :)

Here's some I thought of. Note that Long campaign objectives (defeat your racial foe, beat up Archeon, reconquer lost territory) are a given. This is extras.

Lizardmen: Wipe out all Skaven factions. Have no province on the map with a Chaos corruption of over 50%

Empire: Hold all the territories of the Empire, Kislev, Brettonia, Estalia, Tilea and Border Princes. Have wiped out the Norse factions. Be in the top 5 military strength factions.

High Elves: Capture or sack all the Dark Elf lands. Hold all the Brettonian Provinces. Sack or raze Karaz-a-Karak.

Greenskins: Kill off all Dwarf, Chaos Dwarf, Ogre, Skaven and Human factions.

Nagash: Kill off every other faction on the map. He's simple like that.

True. He'd probably not even stop at every OTHER faction and just kill everyone until it's just him. Then he'd have a party.

Dark Elves would be to retake Ulthuan from High Elves and have a really high slave labor income (higher than any other races total income) + own slave laborers from every possible race

Ogres would be to eat everyone then throw their leaders into the Great Maw.

Lizardmen would have to slap around all their mage-priests until they wake up. Then they get together and do a giant ritual spell to destroy Naggaroth and the Old World so they can get some peace and quiet... Oh and kill off all the Chaos factions too.

(It's my thread and it got buried under wood elves, so I'll bump it just the once)

Any thoughts on what Wood Elves could have as a Victory condition that would require them to cover far more area than usual? Or is this going to be reliant on finding out their current ones (with the amber mechanic...)?
