I see where you're coming from, but if we're talking "not casual" then multiplayer is usually the way to go. Humans will continue to challenge you in ways that AI simply cannot. That's why I said TW is more memory based. You're indeed right about legendary in TW being potentially harder than the hardest AI in SC2 single player for many people.
Any game with competitive multiplayer will usually be the less casual mode than the single player, though. I don't think anyone can really argue that.
For the sake of arguing which game is more competitive, multiplayer is a must, no? o.o
Seconding the person above me: Singleplayer is made for storytelling, introducing you to the game, and fun. It usually has a clear progression and introduces you to different units, terrain features and more and more complicated maps to get you ready for your first match against a real person.
Yeah sounds very wrong to me.
Like the Farytale about the brave Goblin and the even braver Skaven! :)
I played all TW Except Napoleon. (just not my style) and i play TW:W without mods since the release. I tryed some.. but they all make it less Warhammer.
no no no no they still corward like before but army don't lose when they are all routing ,
In the tabletop when a Unit is routing or dieing .. nearby Units have to do a leadship test too to see if they get the panic from the running unit or not. For some armies its not a big deal. For some armies the game could be over the first round if you didnt place your General on the right place.
Ogres are one of those armies. Shoot a Cat with a war machine in turn one an kill it.. if there are units nearby and the General on the other side of the battlefield.. well Ogres dont have a high Morale.. it could happen that the half army is running away because of this.
TW:W is much more forgiving in that matter. Image your army of goblins in running away because a Cannon killed one unit at the begining of the battle. People would go nuts :)
They are , i usually saw gobin armies lose after 1 shoot cannon also empire garrison too.
And i also not having to install 6 mods to get this Total War game to be a Total War game... it feels like its just more micro management in return for less empire management and i hate it so much :L
