If you mean asrai spears - it is literaly the type of weapon Eternal Guard use. And half of the WE army on TT too. Sadly in this game only wardancers got them aside from EG. Wild Riders' got theirs castrated for some reason, without their anti-large and armor piercing properties. And Glade Riders and Warhawk Riders forgot to take theirs into battle.
Speardancer can't hold range fire also monster combine with infantry charge.
spear dancer can hold Archer fire better then eternal guard can their physical resitance coupled with their ability to activate missle reistance combines rather well with their other aspects, shields only work if beign shot from the front which youll only take one or 2 volleys anyway with the speed of either group if your being shot from the front.
P. D: They use biotics powers not spears and the Eternal Guard are the so called Asari Justicars xD
Except they do 0 dmg. They have a hard time killing some Goblins. Sure they can hold them forever.. but they dont harm anyone. I prefer some Infantry that can not only hold the line. I want them to kill something wile holing the line.
Spear dancers while their ability is active can hold agiasnt ranged damage better then if being shot from any side other then front, and your not going to be shot from the front once their in combat. They hold the line stright up better then eternal guard.
He's pointing out a typo. It says asari, not asrai.
They are slower and weaker than Wardancers w/ Spears, but they are more durable from the front and also got that nice "anti-block" skill.
So, use them only as rear guard, would atleast by my advice.
Also Wardancers w/ Spears take ALOT of punishment, which agains lets the EG looks so weak..
