Do a search for more skill points on the workshop
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I get where you're coming from, and usually I'd be inclined to agree. I myself generally dislike the idea of changes that run the risk of making things less difficult.
At the same time though, I also think that the recent changes for legendary lord skills would be better if picking them didn't mean abandoning a lot of skill options that regular generals are almost certainly going to have. They're legendary lords, their extra skill options should serve as supplements to regular skill options, not detract from them.
Naturally, I am inclined to think that the best compromise would be to have just enough extra skill points that one can pick up some of the new skills and still pick up the same number of old regular skills as other generals, hence why I think an extra 6 points, and no more, would be fair.
Really, a respec every 30 turns or so would be cool. Or pay x amount of gold that goes up each time you do it and goes up for each level you have acquired.
Idealistic speaking, I second your statement. If the choices in this regard where real choices at all, but the Skill Tree system is not choice based, it's progressiv based. With 3 destinct lines to skill. The way the skill lines for the base race is done, it's no choice at all.
A cointrere to the Wood Elves or Norsca Skill Trees, they have choices. Which I blame CA lame ass "we don't want to do a rework of our base game"-stance.
Inb4: Foundation Patch was nothing, no content. Few unique skill lines? Mods can make that better.... ffs.
