little help with empire victory conditions/chapter objectives

hey all this is my first TW game so not really sure on how games 'end.' Playing Empire campaign, have all the Victory conditions checked on both long and short campaings but haven't hit the chapter objectives i'm guessing?

curently around turn 220 something and despite hitting all the victory conditions the game wont end and all my allies are beinning to hate me, I currently have well over 25 settlements but the "Chapter V: age of Franz" says i have to siege 18 more? does that mean personally? will the game end after I do that or will it go on to ask for another 30 after that?

sorry if that was a bit ranty, been a very long game and it always comes down to fighting dwarfs doesnt it...

The chapters are optional. If I recall correctly in order to win you have to destroy Vampire counts completely and posses all empire provinces along with sylvania.

Also you need to have Chaos and Chaos brayherd destroyed.

There's no actual end to the campaign; you can keep playing as long as you like after meeting all of the long campaign victory conditions.
