Any way to make custom campaign maps?
I do CAD and was wanting to branch out my skills but my coding experiance stands at zero. Is there a way? I have seen a "battlemap" editor but nothing for the campaign map.
Help and advice appreicated

I'd go to the Steam Workshop for the game, type in "GCCM", and then see if you can ask the creator. Their maps are in the actual campaign to use. I don't personally know how, but I feel asking that modder or any would be your best bet. I'd also post on the Steam Workshop forums rather than General Discussion. You're likely to find more modders that way that can help. :)
For the actual campaign map, and not just getting custom battle maps into the campaign (which is what it sounds like Witcher is suggesting), you're out of luck. GW imposed a lot of restrictions on the game's mod tools as they didn't want people using a game based on their IP to make a mod based on someone else's IP. And part of that is that you're unable to modify the campaign map or mod in whole-new campaign maps.

It's also why you can't introduce new character models, textures, animations, etc.

... Wot? The GCCM mods literally allow you to use custom battle maps in the campaign. They've created a lot of cool maps for Bretonnia, Dwarves, Orks, Empire, VC, etc that each are themed to the province the attacking starts in. Idk HOW they do it, so I was suggesting to dubpunk to see if they can get in touch with that modder, or post in the Steam Workshop forums in hopes someone there can help.

Those are adding custom battle maps to the campaign, the OP asked about modifying the actual campaign map, you know; the giant strategic one that hosts the turn-based side of the game.

I swear; half the time around here I feel like I'm the only one to read a starting post in full.
They're not exactly clear whether they mean something along the lines of stretching the map around, or just adding maps to it, so I don't think your response is very appropriate. If they put emphasis on actually adding to the campaign map things such as mountains and whatnot, then I can see what you mean.

They make it sound like they want to do what GCCM is doing. If they put "actually change the campaign map's appearance" then it'd be interpreted differently.

How is it even possible to misinterpreted this?

I don't want to play the devil's advocate or anything, but Shadow88 is actually right. The OP's post is very clear that he asks if he can change the actual campaign map:
