Is Warhammer politically incorrect?
I find some things very odd and kind of low key insulting...

Orcs and goblins occupy what in our world is the middle east and central Asia, muslim countries...

Their slang is kind of the african american slang, very weird.

Kislev is slavic sounding and they ride bears...

Warhammer is a 40 year old ip that came out when people were not sensitive snowflakes.

orcs are actually based on british socer hooligans. the various parts of the world actually correspond to the classic ancient view of the civiliaztion its based on. and yes kislev is a mixture of russia and polish in a fantasy setting. not so much polliticaly incorrect as stereotypical fantasy setting for each place.

Orcs and Goblins are british thugs and criminals types really, think holigons you see from early and even today lituture from the united kingdoms. They are the original thug culture so to speak some parts of the isles and lower tiers

Kislev is a mix of russian, polan and chez republic hope I spelled those right but they have been sounding that way for some time

And also this, context matters.

The long and short of it is:

A bunch of '80's nerds took some generic fantasy races (Elves, Dwarfs, Men, Orcs, etc), put their own spin on it in line with what where populair themes at the time.
(Where do you think all the spikes come from? Heavy metal was a big deal back then!)

Then they needed to put them in a fantasy world to have their conflict make sense:
Not being able to be bothered to create one from scratch, they made one vaguely resembling our own and dumped said races in places they thought would work nicely to create some backstory.

"There, job done, we can all go home now"

EDIT:

Games Workshop's only saving grace when it comes to their piss poor creativity (or lack thereof) comes from the Skaven and to some extend the Tomb Kings.

In the whole of the Warhammer universe, filled with all those races, those two would be the only factions coming close to being "unique" and their own creation.

All the rest are variations on High Fantasy factions seen before in other works.
And it's still stretch at that.

Is this post a joke?

Don't read too much into a fantasy game for kids. Also do some research first, as many pointed out Orcs are based on topics that were much more relevant back in 1983 for the guys at Games Workshop, a bunch of british men in their thirties (hooligan and heavy metal subcultures), not on African Americans or Muslims.
Really, what makes you think Orcs talk like African Americans? Is is "git" or "oi"?

Even if it was... who cares? (it isnt, theres a land called Araby, I think youll find thats where the 'middle eastern' race is)
Sultschiem Jan 17, 2017 @ 2:44am
Ehm.... there is Araby, which represents medieval persia.... so no, Greenskin's starting-position has little to do with the middle east in general. Greenskins can be found in every part of the world just like beastmen and skaven. Just their main "realm" is the badlands and world edge mountains.

There are savage orks roaming the empire and an ork-tribe in the mountains northwest of marienburg. Then there is the Crooked Moon near Altdorf.

They generally taken references with their factions, but politically incorrect...eh. They are stereotypical and exxagerated, but that applies to every race and they are all douches in the end in some way or form.

Op this is some pretty weak bait my dude.

The only stuff in fantasy that's iffy is maybe tomb kings or lizardmen, given that they're basically just irl cultures as undead / lizards, but other than that there's not really anything too bad.
