Capping the game at 30 fps?
I run this game with a RX-480, and 8350. My GPU can handle it just fine, my cpu though lags far, far behind. I get anywhere at 80 fps at the start of the battle to, 30-45 fps while zoomed in on the action. If i were to cap the game at 30 fps, would there be anymore stutters or choppy animations? As there would no longer be frame drops?

Also if it does help how could i achieve this effect?

Thanks again!

aslong as the game does not drop below 30FPS and you can lock your Framerate to 30 on your Vsync option locate in your catalyst control panel

Im guessing that option would be frame target control?

Edit 1: Ive turned on V-sync for my TWW profile to always on, and set the frame target control to 30. Doesnt seem to limit it.

sorry I don't have an AMD video card so I don't really know the option name but a little bit of googled suggested is called Double V-Sync? so try that with a FPS limit of 30 and I'm going to assume you are using FPS software monitoring tools such as MSI Afterburner to know whether is working or not you also may want to try to lower shadows to High, remove AA, SSAO and Reflections these are the major FPS hitters and don't do much in terms of visual quality

This is what i use

Okay I seemed to have fixed the issue by enabling open gl triple buffering. When I go from 60 fps to 30 fps, there is an intial stutter, but it seems to play MUCH smoother after that. <- Might just be the placebo effect due to the fact MSI afterburner is still saying Im running the game above 30fps.

Alas the game is smoother so I still thank you. :)
