That's too bad. A worldmap / campaign map editor would be sweet.
It's one of the big letdowns of the TW3 engine (Empire and after), modding the campaign map is either too hard or is simply impossible now. MTW2 was the golden age of overhaul mods for the TW series. Everything since then is basically just overhauls of the existing content mostly.
Probablyt he biggest departure since MTW2 in terms of overhaul scope was a WW1 mod for Napoleon. The lead designer, Mitch if I recall, was then hired by CA since I guess he impressed them enough.
It cant be impossible, else they wouldnt be able to make the new content we'll be seeing as the landmass expands.
I know there's a lot of work in making whatever tools they're using available to the public -and- user friendly enough for the average person, but its not impossible.
Total Warhammer has been resoundingly successful beyond their initial expectations. Lets hope they decide to go the extra bit and give us some editor tools.
As I said, it'd almost endlessly increase the replayability of the game with custom landmasses, worlds, battlemaps, all that. Especially if it can be attributed to Workshop functionality.
