zoom in on individual?

seen some youtubers can zoom in on indiviual units. how can i do this?

sorry if i was to vague what i was refering to was after i manually zoomed in they had a way to then zoom in closer or that unit.

Left mouse button or scroll up and down with mmb

I Appear not to be explaining myself well. Not zoom in as in as in mmb up and down I mean when I directly looking at a unit I've seen videos were the can zoom the camera closee to the individual unit in question.

Yes press insert then press left mouse to zoom in and mmb to go up and down. After u press insert.

No, they press the button "n" to zoom.

If you press "insert" you will zoom and lock into the unit you last marked, pressing "n" will zoom into whatever you are looking at without locking you to a unit. If you want to zoom into the forest, etc.. you'll need to press "n".

Ooooo I get it now. I thought he was asking once you press insert how do you zoom into that unit even more. With would be left mouse button.
