Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (RPG Tabletop)?
My friends and I really enjoy the fantasy lore of Warhammer after being introduced to the universe in such a way from Total War. There's just so much and we don't even know where to start, or how to. We're interested in the miniatures, but are mostly trying to get involved in the actual roleplay tabletop. Does anybody know about some good sites to go to get the PDF's of campaigns, core rulebooks (a lot of people are recommending second edition where I'm from), etc? We can't find anything on Warhammer Fantasy in our local area (just all 40K), thank you very much for the help!

There are board games for Warhammer that are more RPG style. I believe they are all called Warhammer Quest: "Insert title here". I have Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower and it is pretty enjoyable. Also the steam game, Warhammer Quest, is quite enjoyable for it's price (I think it was only like 3$ on sale) but it has no multiplayer so probably not what your looking for. The tabletop game and its rulebooks are giving you a basis to play Warhammer Fantasy Battles which is much more of a grand strategy game and a little less RPG style though the Lords and Heroes give it some of that element. I think most of the detailed campaigns you will find will be about the similar grand strategy version with lots of units etc.

Perhaps someone knows a lot better on this subject, I would start by looking into the boxed set Warhammer Quest first if you really want 1 miniature each, RPG style with your friends and fighting through a randomly created dungeon.

I've bought all books of the 3d Edition by Fantasy Flights. They are very good. We played every Sunday for almost 3 years with my team (1 DM and 5 players). We had a great time.

Buy the Core Box from eBay, you can find it much cheaper than $100 (the price it was selling when it came out). Then you can look into the expansions.

My favorite stories were: The Witch's Song (great twist in the end), Lure of Power, Hero's Call and The Enemy Within.

Just so you know, all editions of WFRP don't feature any minis at all. Everything is pen 'n' paper only.

Are you looking to get into the RPG's or the TableTop Battles?
If you are into the RPG, add me. I may have something for you.

Accept my friend request please.
I would suggest buying a copy of second edition version of the RPG and printing it out. The core book and a set of dice is really all you need. Generally the second edition is considered to be the best edition of the lot. It encapsulates very well the spirit of the lore.
