Thoughts? Are they even worth the time, effort and cost of training them in favour of the rest of the Empire's cav? Also any idea how they match up against Bret Cav?

Reiksguard beat Knights of the Realm in 1vs1 and are heavier armored but will lose against Grail Knights.

Reiksguard are cost effective, powerfull and can be hired very early in the campaign. There is no real reason not to use them

On another point. How does everyone feel about empire knights? Just good for charging behind lines? I'd like to use them better than I currently am.

I use empire knights as anti-inf cav, charging in the rear or against ranged, or if there is nothing else, to support anti-cav units.

They r extremely good in multiplayer now. $1100 for something so powerful is worth bringing more than a few into the battlefield.

- very high armor
- very high dmg
- cheap

As mentioned before they can even beat knights of the realm of which have anti large. That proved their worth.

I got my Reiksguard up to level 9 and they was amazing. Unlike other shock cavalry, they can hold their own in Combat well after the initial charge.
