Dwarf/Vampire were the easiest legendary campaigns I've done. I think I've done them all on legendary now besides Beastmen, Chaos, and Skarsnik.
easy starting position, lots of monsterous units, can just merge damaged units and raise brand new ones on the go with raise dead, mortis engine and corpse carts OPness, healing + raise dead model spells as well as single damage/multi damage spells that can snipe lord and wipe out chunks of infantry
Passive playstlye - Bordelux , farm ork > end turn > confed > farm Beastmen > confed > farm nosca and Chaos > win quest > end
Not after the patch..... I played through multiple legendary campaigns, but holy hell, the current state makes it almost impossible.
Retried 5 times this patch and was beaten by 2 full Clan Angrund armies PLUS Wissensland 2,5 armies.
My Arachnarok was surprisingly usesless in killing lords as it just kept throwing them around until my units where destroyed and it routed.....
Play nice with the dwarves(as in, never attack their settlements, bribe them a bit, never use hero actions against them), because they are a pain in the ass you don't really need otherwise.
Chaos will come and ignore you completely(they even ask for non-aggression pacts). Watch as they steamroll the Empire, claim the ruins, make a military alliance with the dwarves if you can, fight Chaos after stabilizing your new holdings.
