This is why I always start with the King. Take Marienburg, Easy money.

It's probably there because most players start as Bretonnia and without an enemy, It's hard for certain factions to want to confederate with you.

I am too good in a relationship with human factions of both brettonia and empire
to the point Marienburg sees me as a very good friend

If you start as Bretonnia you start at war with Marienburg.

Personally I never see the reason to start as the Fay Enchantress because after I take Marienburg. I can confederate with the other Dukes and the Fay and get her. Confederating means you won't be dragged into any of their silly wars.

Fay Enchantress campaign is for the challenge but she is a tank and decent in melee w/ her buffs you could make battle pilgrim quite decent than squire.

You could abandon your capital then go to Estalia due you need to wait for WE to make a move. After Orion make a move you can defeat this pesky pest and issue a peace.

War w/ those tree hugging pointed ear hippie will not benefit you due even you burn their tree it doesn't give you chivalry.

Dif goals with dif lords. Leon starts by wiping norsca. Alberic and fay dominate tilea estalia to start off with.

I use fay myself, by around turn 75 im already churning $7000 income per turn.

She is pretty easy start, just hang around for first 20 turns building up and fighting the orcs and elves you need to fight (elves will peace out) and then move West to Estalia and confederate rest of Brettonia.

A lot of times nearby settlements are destroyed and can colonize them instead of waiting.

All three are pretty easy tbh, once you capture a settlement or two then build up as large of a force as you can while making friendship with rest of brettonia and confederate them all.

^ This. It makes close to zero sense lorewise for her to war with WE.

She cant tank. Level 1 she fought Khazrak One Eye. In the first fight I had.

One hit from him she lost 20% health!
