When playing with Orion on campaign, I tend to build leader skills towards battlefield buffing. Wild Riders rack up the kllls, but it's normally my war dancers doing the heavy lifting otherwise.

you're essentially doing 300 vs 3000 undead
kind of fights
which means that you have to play smart
quite often your heroes are best used to "snipe" their lords and heroes off to shatter morale.
Besides the full Flying Army i have Wild Riders in every Army i build. The Standard build is 5-6 Archers, 5-6 Wild Rider Thats the core. And i build the rest around that.
Its true a unit is usualy smaller then a unit of another faction. But its very easy to make some Money so you can just attack with 2 Armies against 1. :-)
