Industry or Farm economy? Bretonnia
the debuff that affects amount of peasent you use only seem to include farm wealth the first 5-6 or something you have over the limit, so is it worth going whit industry over farm?

I suggest mixed them but mostly go on industry.
You will definitely benefit more in industry there is a trick to mix them. Like make sure you will build a tier 3 industry then destroy the required building to able to build that tier 3 building then rinse and repeat w/ farms.
Control is quite easy to deal w/ just get a tech and make sure you build control building in every province you got.

Best way to have economy power house as Bretonnia capture Marienburg then have damsel deploy in that area you will make more money in early game.

Youre going to need to mix it, however industry isnt as useful as the farming, as the wind and waterwheels add growrth to nearby provinces, as well as boost the farming income, the requisite cellars for the weavers (Which also generate less income) DO add nice buffs to defensive sieges, but in general the growth bonuses and additional income from farms that you can research make it the better choice if you have to focus on just one.

Wow never know farming benefit more ty
Do you have to build that required building in each settlement to advance your farms?

Yes but there is a trick to able to mix your industry and farmer building to tier 3 in one minor settlement as stated in my previous post.
actually industry is more of a mid-end game economy, when you carefully look at all the data farm can only get a +20% (500 > 600 income) production bonus when the industry can go up to 40% (450 > 630) it however need more investement than farming to go up, farming is very usefull to launch your game and grow quickly your regions but when they have grown enough don't bother sticking with it, it's detrimental in the long run, switch toward industry.
I start off with farms until I get the techs for industry then I build 100% industry from that point onwards. Having a province or two running farms is nice to be able to recruit pox/flame bowmen. The growth you get from mills is nice earlier but the extra ammo during sieges from cellars is nice later on so it works out perfectly.

another question concerning industry

which kind of buildings do count as industry?
harbors and trading producing buildings, do they count as well?

example would be Gisoreux with Tannery, building tailors and big storehouse, would that affect the tannery aswell?

or in lyonesse with a harbor?

currently only the main building chain (web weavers?).
The buildings for trade goods don't belong to either, farming or industry, right now, but will probably fixed if I understood Mitch_CA correctly.
Ports also don't count afaik

If you look right below the name of the building when you hover over it on the campaign map, it will say what kind of building it is.

So the harbours say Port. And the tailor building chain says Industry. The farms say farming, etc.

If that tag doesn't say industry, chances are it doesn't count as industry.

Some tradable item producing structures produce a bit of income as well. I always assumed these were considered industry.

in contrast:

I concede completely issues like resources not counting as Farming/Industry, the ability to cheese destroying mills/cellars, things like that are oversights that will be fixed, and its a shame they are like that for now.

Wow, interesting if that's true. I had no idea those counted as industry.

I also felt I should mention that you can have both farms and industry in the same province.

Once you max out your farm to level 3, you can destroy the windmill and build industry then even destroy the cellar after that for walls or whatever if you want.
