Mortis engine spam..
is pretty effective. Enemy armies just seem to melt away in my experience.. Is the corruption health drain effect and the healing effect cumulative? (does it stack with other mortis engines?)

I'm fairly sure it doesn't stack with others but it does increase in effectiveness over time (to a limit)

As far as I can tell the health drain is not cumulative but you can spread it out over the entire front. The health regen IS cumulative I think but since the Regen nerf that caps the units it's not that helpful. 2-3 Engines can keep that ONE unit alive through a LOT of punishment but once it caps then you could have a dozen Engines close by and it wouldn't make a diff.

Looks GREAT on the map though! I usually bring 3.

Its the other way around, the healing doesn't increase over time but the damage does. Also I just tested and I'm fairly sure it doesn't stack

I find 3-4 Mortis engines is very very effective especially if you have the toughest infantry up front combined with some cavalry and flying units to handle any missile troops. You can spread them out, making it difficult to focus fire just a single one down. You could use more than this as well but beyond that number I feel you are weakening your army overall. It takes awhile for a mortis engine to work its magic. They are a good tool for making the enemy play your game because you know the enemy will want to take them out so then you set the rest of your army, the ones that arent holding the line and blocking for the mortis engines, to countering their counter. That's what I do anyway. Favorite unit in the game I think.

And no the damage doesn't stack, it does 3 per second per individual troop unit in the area, to a maximum of 15. So a single Hero only takes 3 but a goblin spears or cavalry or monstrous unit with 5 or more takes 15.
