Now they are growing again, i boosted their economy even more (legendary difficulty) with some big money gift and together we are invading the empire allowing them to take over city as i sack them. All good.
What do you mean?
+10000000000
after you have awoken them, declare war and attack them again. That way you can subjugate the norsca tribes
Between vassals and miltary alliances I held 2/3s of the map I controlled indirectly.
But there ya go, if you don't like it, there's a mod that lets you vassalize everyone. Literally never was a problem with this game, I bet it was the second mod made, behind conquer anywhere.
OP is talking about being made into a vassal to an AI faction, which would be interesting. i actually think this might improve the game because players aren't turned off by something like Legendary difficulty being whooped at some point, but not defeated per se because the AI inherently makes you a vassal, giving you a second chance to rise back up without having to exit back to main menu and starting over. I'm guessing that's what OP is trying to get at.
