Great post.
I don't know about that, I've been doing some work as the WoC. I've burned all of Norsca, Most of the Empire and Bretonnia, just burned the Oak of Ages along with Athel Loren, and now moving east to wipe out the Dwarfs of the mountains.
Based on my original interpretation of the OP question, you would have accomplished the faction objectives for victory some time ago with everything coming after that for personal satisfaction.
Every faction can conquer or destroy the map if they so choose, what the OP was worried about was prematurely ending a game because victory conditions were achieved. This is definitely not the case in this game since one can simply press "Continue Campaign" after reading the victory screen.
50 razes were a squeeze. I had to declare war on chaos right at the end to stop him so there were cities left.
edit: a vile Necro.
i know this post is very long and all i just wanted to ask you how long did it take to wipe out everyone as chaos ive done a long victory just now in 264 turns but wondering how long aprox would it take to wipe out all is it 500 turns 1k or what? and mby some tips tho not sure if ill submit myself to this torture anyway cus its srsly hard to destroy factions when someone just comes and takes citys behind you also get rebeled and make new factions and u just go back and forth alot
edit: I cant seem to buy them
