New battle-engine, World War 3 and TV-advertisement with Steam Machine bundle = Win. Quaranteed 2mill pre-sales, 5 mill in couple year. Biggest and most succesful TW yet!
You get used to it though and a lot of the time I'm playing the game with my view distance far out so I can see as many units as I can, only occassionally zooming in to watch a nice cav charge or find a hero unit in the scrum or see a volley of arrows land on some sheildless unit etc.
Not sure what you mean about it being blurry? Seems fine to me, anyway, I get my 1080Ti delivered in a couple of hours so will check again for blurryness, never noticed it on my 980Ti.
It is not how medivial 2 total war worked.M2 had pretty good one vs one animations this game is like rome 1
Do you have a link? That would be simply awesome, no doubt, the right move for the series. New battle-engine could unite players from the past 20 year of Total War.
Should not be blurry at all, just played it on everything ultra @ 1440p, I had most setting on high/ultra with my 980ti, and neither card made the game look blurry. I think you may have a scale option switched to the wrong setting.
Make sure you have resolution scale at 100%. otherwise game will look blurry. It's in advanced graphics settings
As for matched combat, that would be impossible to do.
Not in this game, with a few special animations like a Lord/Hero leaping into and impaling Monstrous Infantry on his sword, or certain flying monsters grabbing and dropping guys. But in Atilla you'll notice people attacking and blocking as they lock together in 1v1 combat. People have had mixed opinions on it since Shogun 2. Some think it's dumb, others that it looks cool.
Pretty sure it is, I've seen battles in Medeival II and they seem to function the same, but you know without monsters and what not, guys stabbing at each other's direction and dudes dropping.
Okey i fixed it.But still shogun 2 units look more polished.I am not saying it looks graphical better.Anyway.If they fix little bit combat with a patch or 2 it is actually a cool game.
