Interface issues/improvements

[I Want Your Mom]

1. Options are not saving, when you apply them for the first time. For example, if I want to turn off the music, it turns off right away, but when I check the checkbox right after that, nothing happens. Music stays away. I need to close the options to be able to turn music on.

2. It's hard to compare weapons, when you're browsing shop goods. Your current weapons are greyed and no hint shows. It might not be a problem later, when you're familiar with the game, but quite annoying for newcomers.

2. Actually, it would be nice to be able to not onle view params, but to replace weapons and any other hardware without closing buy/sell window. You just buy stuff and drag to desired slot.

3. Also it's a little frustrating, that you can't quickly find out, who your crew member is and what are his stats. Hovering over him just brings you bay stats. I think it would be much better to display tooltip for bay, when you hover on empty slot, and display crew guy info, when you hover him. I understand, that if all slots are occupied in bay, you won't be able to see any info. But in the end, there's not much to see.

4. Sometimes (very randmly), when you travel between systems/planets an event happens (for example, weapon damage increases). Window with message pops and when you close it, your ship becomes stuck (frozen). It simply doesn't move anywhere and you can't do anything about it, only quit the game, start again and click Continue. Sometimes message doesn't even appear, but ship freezes with the same symptoms. Happened to me several times, so it's quite clear now, that problem's with events, which happen, when you travel from one system to another.

Yep, it's a bug, we'll fix it. The way to get out from freeze is to relaunch the game and fly to any other direction than you flew previously.

It actually happens VERY often for me in my current playthrough. Maybe it's because I'm in later game already and playing on the big map. Some kind of "bug stack". But I have to reload the game every few turns, because ship is constantly stuck between systems or when on them already.

I'm playing on the big map too, so I fully understand how it's annoying :( We're already working on the fix.

5. Just lost my big game due to another very annoying bug. Some times (almost every play) your crew members disappear. You can see a blinking circle, where crew member should be, but no member's figure. You can't move him, can't give him any orders etc. It mostly happens to captain, so when mine was wounded during battle, I wasn't able to move him to medbay and eventually lost the game. Probably, also related to long game runs, because I didn't notice it during previous short plays.

Noted. thank you. Also, you can restart the game from the first point in last visited sector (unless you exit). Yes, you'll lose some progress, but not completely.

Just found out, where captain disappears: he simply goes out! Literally!

I'm serious, the guy just went outdoors and marche away from ship. Only circle on the floor left from him. After that I saw his small figurine walking on planet's surface or open space in every system.

6. Menu button would also be nice. I often play with my cat on me and have only one hand available - can't exit :-)

Sometimes you just wanna drop out all that responsibility of being a captain and go for a walk in silence. We're gonna give some antidepressants to all captains in the next patch :)
