"Pyromaniac" achievement still broken

This achievement has been reported broken 3 years ago and still not fixed. I have played through the game twice. First play through i did not burn all five, but loaded chapters again and burnt them, did not work. I started a new game and made sure to burn all 5 this time, did not work. In some discussions people say loading chapters afterwards worked for them, but not for me. I am one achievement away from 100%, help me please.

Solution: Play the game though with "New Game" option and burn all 5 possible people and if the achievement does not unlock for you after burning the last priest, then load chapter 2 again and kill the man with oven one more time. This worked for me.

Did you skiped cutscenes thoguh? Don't work for me, i beat this game 5 times already, 3 of which i burned all 5 posible.

When I was trying to use Mind Control 10 times, in chapter 14, I also did chapter 15. This got me the achievement.

it really helped me. I have already replayed the game 3 times and lost hope.
What I did: Run chapters 14 and repeat mind control on mechanics many times. Then I went through Chapter 15 and got an achievement.

The thing that unlocked the pyro achievement for me was to load up the pyro tutorial. That was after i tried burning the guy in the garage many times

2024 view: I'd played the game twice fully before doing this and tried replaying the Combustion tutorial like others suggested, but what worked for me was playing chapter 14 and closing the vent and put the iron in the washer before going into the garage, then playing through chapter 15.

I can't manage to unlock the achievement.. Tried all of the above but no luck
