Hungry Family
Does anyone know if there are specific requirements for the hungry family. I am at 2 playthroughs of 42 days and both times they have spawned 2 or 3 times in the first 5 days and then not again the rest of the game. This is leading me to believe there are certain requirements that get them to show up. I noticed that I dont get any random events if I am just skipping a lot of days by assigning my main character to guard. They only seem to pop up when I am doing quests and exploring areas. Any insight into this would be appreciated.

Azriel, I did some testing and found out that you can change the outcome of the next turn.

Explaination, step by step:
1. If you don't have any urgent quests, it's optimal to simply skip the day. Before that, copy your save file.
2. Procede normally, that is: give jobs to your characters etc. and advance to the next turn.
3. Now, the game rolls an event (in example: trader offer, training, hungry family or no events at all). If you don't like the outcome then you exit the game and use the copied save file to return to the previous turn.
4. If you skip the turn again... nothing will change. BUT! If, instead of staying in the camp, you send your main character to do some fighting or quest (it may be even 1 weave)... then when you return to the camp, the game will roll different events!

This basically doubles the chances to get the "family event" each turn. Probably you can get infinity of different events if you go exploring to different regions etc. but I did not test it. One reroll should be good enough.

I got lucky and had already a second family event at day 5. Third family at day 12, and fourth family at day 20. Finally got my 100% achievement score.

Just make sure you have some nice music or podcast in the background, its hard to force oneself to grind for the achievements without it :P
