Stuck in VR Mode and unable to reset configuration

So my curious offspring decided to enable VR mode via the menu when there isn't an Oculus Rift on this PC so now we've got a view like https://imgur.com/C9KQh3K - hitting the Escape key doesn't give a visible menu.

I've tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling from Steam to try and reset the configuration but it stays in VR mode. I've searched for anything relevant using the term "TeaParty" in the AppData directory, and the registry without any joy. Am I missing something or is there a better way to sort this out? Thanks in advance.

Maybe I am late after 2 years, but I just had this. I have a VR headset, but not an Oculus Rift. So VR mode in this game does not work for me. But I still managed to get back to normal as there still was the menu and a cursor visible.

If you still have this problem and can't get back, you can try in the registry:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Power Up to Maximum\Tea Party Simulator 2015
There is lots of cryptic stuff, sadly nothing to just disable VR. But you might be able to reset the game (but you will probably lose your progress).

do you remember how you fixed this? i'm running into the same problem (except i never toggled vr mode)
