[BUG] Can't Save game? [SOLVED]

I had played more than 4 hours and now I cant save my game... what I need to do?

PS: I buy this game yesterday =(

Restart the game and run as administrator... same error

Almost fix around

I put beta 1 (bratch) the game back to 1.0.4... and now the save works fine. But I need to stay playing at outdated version?!?!?

Admin, I am having the same problem as Detona. Bought the game yesterday.

Version 1.0.5
Windows 10, 32 bit
Save failed 0000

No photo.

Any ideas about what is causing the problem?

Nevermind - I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and that solved the prooblem. Thanks!

Apparently, this game has the same save problem like the one that happened with Skyrim after upgrading to Windows 10. Simply:

1. go to Documents or My Documents
   
2. right click the SavedGames folder
   
3. left click Properties
   
4. left click Security tab
   
5. left click Edit
   
6. left click HomeUsers
   
7. find box labeled Permissions for HomeUsers at the bottom
   
8. left click the Allow box for Full Control (make sure it is checked)
   
9. left click Apply

I did all that and the problem's gone. Hope this helps someone.

Hey guys,

People have reported that when upgrading to Windows 10, their documents permissions changed to read-only.

As @justAnotherGamer has stated, by going to the properties of your SavedGames folder you should be able to change the permissions back to read and write, fixing the save game issues.

I don't have a problem with saving, but i've had to start over twice because it said my save file is corrupted.

As today, I wanted to play and it again said that the save file is corrupted.
Has anyone had this problem as well? Or does someone know how to get my files back?

Hi! We are really sorry that you are having trouble with loading some files. Can you check that the game you are running is version '1.0.5'. Furthermore, what OS are you using?

I'm having the same issue as OP.
Windows 10
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, tried multiple times to save but it doesn't register me clicking on anything and will not allow me to save.

• WSDir.txt isn't present so I wasn't able to delete it.
  
• Steam cloud synchronization was already disabled so I wasn't able to disable it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Turns out my antimalware sorftware was blocking access from the game.exe to the file :P

Windows 11, I've tried the different fixes, including uninstalling/reinstalling but can't get it to save.

Same issue but on Mac. I have a weird "save file" named aqueqaqueq or something like that with max fame and money.

Not sure if it's related, but the game is zoomed in past the screen an changing the resolution does not fix it. The mouse cursor seems to react as if the screen wasn't zoomed, meaning every interactable is misaligned. I really wanted to play the game again!
