dont forget, you can save time and effort by selling 3 weapons at a time per merchant per location. make specific weapons for 3 of the heroes in an area and sell all at once. save up alot of money before researching and you wont have a problem. hillbilly hollow is always a bit difficult because you are still unlocking things. my suggestion is to max out all heroes in level 1, get your smiths levels to 5 in they're starting profession, and before you move save about 25,000 - 50,000 starch aswell so you can afford the upgraded equipment. also shortly after moving you get the option to get new smiths, do this as soon as possible but remember to keep an eye on your starch. try and get the best smiths you can but watch how much they cost each month cause it can quickly come back to bite you.

As your smiths level up they can make weapons with better stats (worth more starch).
As you progress through the game you encounter stronger (and richer) heroes that will buy weapons for more.
Higher class weapons sell for more (although not always) so reasearch when you can.
Smiths only cost more if they continue to level up, so when they hit level 5 in thier first profession keep them there for a wile. remember that explorer and merchant levels also make thier salary go up.

And if you have any questions that I did not answer here then just ask, I will get to all questions as soon as possible.
Please friend me and message me when you see me on.
Most of the games I play I can leave quickly to help you.
I would prefer to help people with this game.
I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say thank you for the time and effort you put into posting all these tips and tricks!
Thank you for this game.
All of the other games like this are "play to pay" and that's usually slow and tedious, and gets annoying.
Even though I have finished the game a few times, I still like going back and starting all over. Thats a rare thing for me with games. I usually get to about 90% complete and get bored.
I eagerly await any new content, even if its just that thrown weapon I keep seeing at the award show.
I will continue to help people in any way I can, it's a rewarding experiance.
Keep up the good work.
To celebrate this thread being made sticky lets talk about exploring.
Exploring is a very important action. Not only is it the only way to get the materials needed for research, and enchantments, but it also affords you free materials for forging weapons.
Lets start with crafting materials. After the first time we are forced to purchase materials for a bow (I would suggest buying the maximum of rope, wood, and metals), shopping becomes almost moot. All purchasable materials can be found wile exploring. Different materials are found in different areas, and with different rarities. Explore everywhere and pay attention to what can be found where. Some materials can only be found in certain levels, so keep an eye on how much materials you have, before moving on. If you can't find a material you need, it is most likly in another level.
Enchantments can mean the difference between a weapon being worth next to nothing for certain heroes, to becoming the weapon they dream about. Enchantments can only be obtained by exploring, and like materials they can be found in different locations and in different rarities. As you progress from level to level the enchantments you find get stronger and stronger. It is not as important to remember to stock up on them as much as materials, but not having the right enchantment when you need it is kind of a let down.
Research materials are a must if you want to get ahead in the game. You can only find them wile exploring. Researching weapons becomes necessary when you reach Hillbilly hollow (level 2). Stronger weapons means more $tarch, and you can only make stonger weapons if you research them first. Like the other two types of items found wile exploring, different materials can be found in different areas and in different rarities. Like crafting materials, some research materials can only be found in certain levels, so stock up on them before you head to the next level.
Your smiths explorer level directly effects the ability for them to find more and rarer items. However, keep an eye on your smiths salary because explorer levels increase it just like smith levels.
I would suggest that wile one smith sells weapons, you have at least two exploring. Doing these actions at the same time will save alot of time and $tarch.
Thank you again for getting this thread made sticky. I hope it helps everybody, not just people who are having difficulties.
How do I stop my smiths from leveling up, please? And, what do you mean "their first profession"? Is a profession their proficiency, e.g. attack, speed, accuracy? If not, what is their profession, and how do you get more professions?
I'm still early in the game, still in the first workshop (I assume you can buy better workshops).
Thanks!
Do you recommend to change their profession? It seems quite important to unlock the newer professions but I don't know if it is necessary yet. What do you think?
Have you completed all objectives in your current area and are being told to move to Hillbilly Hollow? If so, when you bring up the world map, above the "Back to Workshop" button at the bottom, you will see a button that says "Next Region: Hillbilly Hollow." That button will allow you to move on to the next region!
Do let us know if you were able to move on!
