I picked up 11 via Gamefly digital store. Though I kind of don't recommend it cuz their store is horrible. can still buy it through and uninstall their cruddy digital store program & able to play afterwards. Besides that...rom's :/

Official Western/English release of a ROTK game? The last one was ROTK XI from around the mid 2000's. I had it on PS2 and later saw it for PC. You can find legit purchases of ROTK XI in a bunch of places but from a lot of digging around, it seems that the Western/English version of ROTK XI does not have all the PUK/upgrades of the Asian releases. It literally is the base game with no improvements.

Titles prior to ROTK XI are predominantly console releases, with X being a PS2 title. I think XI was the first to hit PC in english.

I think ROTK XIII will get it's official english port. Koei did the same for Nobunaga's Ambition: Sphere of Influence. It hit steam originally with Chinese. Just recently it officially got English support.

I do think Koei is preparing to bring the ROTK and NA line of games back to English but they're doing it carefully, slowly. The sad part was that both line of games had a bit of great history in gaming over here. ROTK most especially. Hell, I still remember playing ROTK on my buddy's SNES and I later got my own copy for the Genesis. It's funny how Koei let ROTK die out west in favor of more Dynasty Warriors.

I know, I began ROTK with II on the wii, loved it. Is there any game like VIII or X? I loved the RPG system in it even if the AI was dumbed down

If Koei Tecmo ever figures out how to market to Western gamers they're going to be sitting on a mountain of money. At half the price they'd sell ten times as many games for five times the revenue. Instead they charge stupid prices, rarely discount, and so pick up a bunch of negative reviews further discouraging potential purchasers.

I guess they figure they sell enough on console in Asia for it not to matter.
