Perhaps we should start creating a complete list of strategy for the purpose of online documentation.

Something like this:

I’d be interested in your top ten list of best strategies, if you ever want to share them.

I like to use provoke to lower enemy defence and morale and encourage to help counter that from the enemy, once things are in my favour I use a strategy like Zhuge Liang’s brilliant maneuver which increases the odds of strikes, raises allies defence, removes bad effects and preservers morale, if I were playing as Cao Cao I would use Xun Yu for manual battles and use attendant to heal soldiers and increase defence. Even something like provoke the horses can be useful if you know the make up of an opposing army.
