Anyone has Dong Bai portrait?
I saw this youtube video of a guy playing ROTK 13 and notice he has this unique female character:

Turns out it was Dong Zhou's granddaughter Dong Bai. And it also turns out that the portrait was taken from Dynasty Warriors.

I want to create Dong Bai as an original officer and especially since we now have the Officer CG Edit tool. Problem is, I can't seem to find the perfect portrait of her! I search in Google images and most of them have her Chinese name in the pictures which made it weird to use it as a portrait.

Anyone has a good portrait of her? Or better yet, the file to import it to RotK 13?

Heya, I looked around for that portrait you mentioned and I wasn't able to find it anywhere... I have the one with the Chinese name and I'm about done isolating the character from the background (for transparancy use). I'll post it when I get it done. If anyone else finds the non-chinese text portrait, please let us know

Alright here you go ѕopнιe. The image I put together features the transparency (alpha channel) and should work in-game. The only thing that is annoying is that the chinese text is still there. Might be possible to recreate the rest of the character's dress (by splicing another part onto it, and photoshopping but it'll take a while).

Edit: Just saw in-game... minor adjustments needed on the dress which I can make later xP

Also, I went ahead and edited the file a bit more to remove the edge tearing. Should look much better in game after the character select.

Thanks for all your effort HolyToast! Since we're going to have an official Dong Bai when PUK comes I might use this portrait for something else, maybe make a custom officer for Dong Bai's sister ?

No problem erobotan, I'm more than happy to lend my assistance given that I recently figured out how to make these. Getting better and better as I go.

I think that's a good idea, or maybe a roleplay where a specific event (such as the death of her father) causes a change ~

Also, I could try setting up the portrait for Dong Bai from the PUK if you'd like to get access just a bit early. :P

Haha, that's a good idea. Dong Bai now is a bad girl! but actually her rotk design are slowly getting there. When she first appear in 11 she look like a calm girl, now her design in 13 is portraying her with a hint of sadistic look! (arrogant pose while looking down on the player ^^)

It's ok, I'll wait for the PUK version, I'm not in a hurry :D. By any chance do you have a higher resolution of these girl?

I've been looking for them through the websites... I was able to find one of the other characters (from that DLC) in higher resolution. I'll keep on looking through the Chinese ROTK sites and let you know if I come across something. Having to rely on someone posting the picture given that the Famitsu DLC doesn't work on Steam versions.

I could try downloading it. I did it before and the Winrar file is composed of several res folders each with different elements of the DLC. There's a chinese readme as well which is stating that the DLC does not work for the steam version and requires the non-steam version to work... It's a bit risky but what I could try is backing up the res folder and just replacing everything with what is in the archive.

wait, i think what he means by the editor is the fanmade editor San13pictool v1.70, not the official built in rotk editor. I don't know how it works but i think you don't need to replace any file, just put the DLC files in some random folder and load the files with the fanmade editor? I'm just guessing though ... .

Ahh, it's worth a shot. I'll go ahead and test it out now!

EDIT: FOUND SOME OF THEM!

Will post again with a downloadable link to all HQ images.
