Can't have children when you are a ruler?

I was able to have children with my wives when I played as a free adventurer. When I played as a ruler however,that 'sex' sound doesn't appear.

Historical.I had Cai Yan as a wife. I was able to impregnate her by talking when I was an adventurer,but when I played as a ruler in a different save, I never got the 'sex' sound no matter how many times I talked with her.

The sound is actually random, but you have to do several things to assure that it gets done. Just talking to her may give you like a 50% chance of it happening, but giving her a gift that she actually likes will boost those chances.

In your case, however, I see one or two things wrong. 1. is that she is already pregnant in your other save, in that case, you should be waiting about 10 months before trying again.

I tried giving her gifts too,but it didn't work. I tried it for several years in game.I was wondering whether it had to do with the fact that I made her my wife through game editing. I noticed several strange things too,like not being able to Diao Chan as an additional wife(only able to get her as a best friend),even though Lu Bu was already dead.Through the editior,I made several other people either sworn siblings or best friends.

Yeah maybe it's the editing you did. I never have problems getting horizontal with the ladies as a ruler, so long as they were not hstorically preggers at the time (the game makes it so they can't have a kid when they historically had one).

Is there such a thing as menopause in this game?Noticed that my wive no longer had sex once she hit 30. Whereas,wives who are younger can still have sex.
