Wives and Children

I may have broken the game in a rather unexpected way. Having married a combination of Da Qiao, Xiao Qiao, and another randomly generated character, I was able to have the standard six children...

However, when Da Qiao and Xiao Qiao were unceremoniously executed by Cao Cao in my decades long struggle with the Kingdom of Wei, I found that I was again able to marry two more randomly generated foster daughters. Since Da Qiao and Xiao Qiao's children were still being reared (my first wife's children were much older), and my two additional wives had children over the age of 4, the screen for rearing children couldn't fit 6 children (soon to be 8) from 4 different wives and my game crashed upon exiting out of it.

It's odd, and funny, that I could crash my game in such a way.

Oddly enough, the game only crashed that one time. It does appear that the game will allow you to have too many kids being reared at the same time, but I still had issues. Three of my ten kids came of age with portraits of children that never changed and their names would sometimes disappear from the list to make room for the mothers of the younger ones if an older child came of age. Not to mention I couldn't actually set specific education priorities for the children of the wives who didn't make the page. Using the editor, I tried forcing myself into new marriages to see if it would work normally again with new children, but I don't know. 50+ attempts at visiting Ma Yunlu and I couldn't trigger the night of inception. So maybe the game has a hard cap at ten children, or maybe it didn't work because the marriage wasn't natural. I'm not certain.

max child is 10, tried having 6 child from 3 spouse, when all child reach age 12 remove all spouse and change with 3 new spouse. and my last 2 child not appear. so sad...
